Who We Are
REDS4VEDS is hosted & owned by Annabelle's Challenge, a UK registered charity who proudly leads the annual campaign, uniting families, clinicians, and supporters around the world to shine a light on Vascular EDS on the third Friday of every May.
Together, we raise vital awareness and funds to support those affected by vEDS and to drive forward the research, understanding, and community support that every family deserves.
At the heart of our charity is Annabelle, who was diagnosed with vascular EDS at just three years old. Her courage inspired her parents, Jared and Sarah Griffin, to take action. In 2013, they founded Annabelle’s Challenge to ensure that no family facing this diagnosis would ever feel alone.
Since then, the charity has grown into a trusted international voice for the vascular EDS community. In recognition of our impact, we were honoured with The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. Equivalent to an MBE, QAVS is the highest award given to voluntary groups in the UK.

The REDS4VEDS campaign was co-founded by Evie Evans (Ireland) and Jared Griffin, Annabelle's Challenge (UK) to help mark a worldwide occasion that would raise the profile of vascular EDS.
Following a successful launch in May 2015 the annual campaign now raises vital funds towards research and supporting families affected by vascular EDS.
