It is with a very heavy heart we share the sad news that one of our dear members, Dawn Walker, passed away to vascular EDS in the early hours of Christmas Day 2018 at the young age of 51.

We know how difficult this will be for our community, many of you reached out to Dawn and also supported our ‘mission wheels’ appeal two years ago to help Dawn get her new chair.

Dawn touched the hearts of many and allowed us to share her journey with vascular EDS at the conference we hosted in May 2017 through her surgeon Mark Field.

Dawn leaves behind a loving family who did so much to improve her quality of life post surgery, your kind words of support will help in some way to bring comfort to the Walker family at this very difficult time.
